Hi, my name is Laura Padilla, but maybe some of you know me as Kayla.

Welcome to my website!

I currently finished my HND in Audiovisuals and Shows Production, specializing in films and also as LX and Vx Technician and operator for live events. I have been working in the UK, principally in London as Lx technician and operator since I finished my studies in 2016, and previously also as Lx and Vx technician and operator on venues at the Canary Islands, Spain. At the moment, I am based in London, and looking to reinforce my job as Lx and Vx operator with companies and venues around the UK. I am also interested in collaborating with small projects as DSM and/or DSM apprentice.

My training covers different areas within the audiovisuals, events and entertainment.

I am Higher Technician in Audiovisuals, Radio and Shows Management (HND), with experience in organizing as well as managing filming, shows, cultural and sporting events.

My most relevant experience include shows as lighting designer and technician, for Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company (UK), Escuela de Actores de Canarias (SP), and as video technician for Miravel Producciones, two of them including a mini tour; three internships, one as a producer assistant in the national television show "Bandolera", by Diagonal TV (SP), other as camera operator and responsible video control technician during recordings in the 2014/2015 opera season, for the Tenerife Auditorium Adan Martin (SP), and the third one as Pablo Baz lighting designers' assistant (UK) in different projects and venues, with who I am still working.

My goal is to become a DSM, and my training as a technician makes me be plenty conscious about the needs of a production. I have great attention to details, and good disposition on hardworking to get the best of me.

I am used to work with design, photography and video editing software, and also have interest in the latest trends in entertainment technology and social networking.
